fluff is as easy as a-b-c

location of offense: abc's extreme home makeover show; episode entitled "hill family".

offense: when the home is being revealed to the hill family for the first time, they are thrilled to see a huge basketball court in their newly created backyard. in the center of the court is a logo that reads, "WHO'S HOUSE? HILL HOUSE!"

correction: abc is a multi-billion dollar network and this is one of their popular shows. i know ty and his crew put these houses up in mere weeks (and don't even get me started on how safe that must be), but don't you think someone would have caught the typo in the logo at some point in the process? everyone knows "who's" = "who is". the correct logo should read, "WHOSE HOUSE? HILL HOUSE!" now that family needs to stop playing basketball and starting studying their syntax. thank you.

Library Book Sale Fluff

location of offense: charleston library book sale

offense:

correction: well, i'm glad they're selling "re-freshments" like "gaterade." delicious. i also love that this is at a book sale. whoever wrote this sign needs to stop in and pick up a fluffin' dictionary. at least they knew to capitalize Gaterade. i picked up a refreshment elsewhere. and no, it wasn't Gatorade.

facebook fluff

location of offense: facebook status update

offense: "~Only with true sacrafice within ones self do we find the change we seek~"

correction: let me be the first to remind you that spell check is your friend. aside from the glaring spelling errors of "sacrifice" and "oneself", there's also a fun usage issue. since the writer wants to say "we find" and "we seek", the phrase should really be, "only with true sacrifice within ourselves do we find the change we seek." in addition, we have a larger problem with this status update: the quote doesn't even make sense. please do us all a favor and "sacrafice" yourself (or at least your facebook profile) to the facebook gods.
